Another picture taken using 100ASA film, on my Sister's Pentax SP500.
Light meter didn't work so it came out underexposed. I tweaked the photo in GIMP, to get it more contrasty.
It was taken on a road trip to Pletenberg Bay, this was taken in George, by the touristy waterfront area.
After this picture I settled into my fish and chips. :)

morning
Taken early in the morning at sunrise on the pletenberg bay lagoon.
We had stayed the night in a camp site near the lagoon, and man in the morning so many damn birds decided to wake up, and then wake me up!
So with my travel companions still sleeping, I decided to try shoot at dusk.
This is my favorite out of the ones I took. I just really like how it all turned out.

Taken using 100ASA film, on my Sister's Pentax SP500.
Light meter didn't work so before I used GIMP, the picture came out underexposed. Something I was not happy about.
At least after some fixing, the pciture is closer to what I was looking to capture when I closed the shutter.

Passing in the middle
I remember crossing this busy road in this spot as a kid. Figured that at night I'd be able to get something like this.
Another of my favorite shots. I like how the street laps where captured.
Makes it seem that much more magical.
toystore
This one was taken on my first real night time shoot. Just wondered around close to my house and took pictures of what I thought might look cool.
This perticular image is my favorite out of about 4 snaps of the same thing. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Considering Chopsticks
This snap was taken at a friends birthday. It was the first time I was taking pictures of people in low light conditions.
Thankfully my good friend Kai was able help me set the camera up.
caravan que
This one was taken early morning on the way out of a camp site by the Pletenberg lagoon.
It was a great road trip with two of my dear friends.
All the carvans in this shot must have been bought new for the caravan park / camp site, and they must have all gotten old together. And now they stand in a field waiting for something to happen...
portrait of a champ
This is my Dog Bongo.
He is a champion.
Early on in his career, he got hit by a car and broke both legs.
If it wasn't for the SPCA we would never have been able to afford the operation.
After the op, there where concerns as to weather or not he'd have limp paws, and if everything would heal correctly.
I am happy to report that, because it happened when he was young, he was able to make a full recovery.

big buel
This shot was taken quite a while back when I first started shooting on my Sisters 35mm pentax.
What little I know about this bike, is that it apparently was owned by the lady who owned the house of hair in the background.
This was also taken before I knew exactly what a buell was/is.
Blues and Whites
Another old one that was taken with my sisters Pentax.
What makes this picture special to me, was that that building is no longer there. It was some sort of factory at one stage. Can't think of what it is now?
Red Vespa
This was taken on on foot. Or I still had my Honda CD200 at the time. Unfortunately I can't remember when or what it was that I was doing.
I think it was a perticularly nice day that I had taken the photo, and I had managed to get the camera settings just right. I know that many of the other pictures from this roll, came out to my satisfaction.

fantastic boat
Taken in Knysna on a beautiful autumn day. Thankfully the weather had cleared up for us.
Taken on a 35mm Pentax with my first roll of 100ASA film loaded.
Only after a session in GIMP did this picture come out how I wanted.

Treasures in the yard.
I'm not sure why I like this photo so much. I managed to 'fix' it in GIMP and I'm rather happy with the results.
The car, is a 1966 Alfa Romeo GT Junior, which is a project my dad and I are working on.
In the foreground is my Dad's Vespa, handy for buzzing around town on.
While the dog i the photo is Bongo, the best dog in the world.
pup
After waking up at the Camp stie in Mossel Bay, we took a walk down to the beach where a surf competition was taking place.
This little fella, was snooping around curiously and happened to stop for his portrait.

white wisper
Unedited, taken with out the use of a light meter. Luckily came out just the way I wanted it to.
